Managing Attorney Katie Hingerty of The Hingerty Law Firm, LLC, is a licensed attorney and a member of the State Bar of Georgia. Since 2004, Katie Hingerty has gained considerable experience practicing in multiple areas of law, including criminal, immigration, personal injury, and real estate law.
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, and formed subsequent to the dissolution of Hingerty & Gledhill, LLC, Hingerty's firm specializes in complex immigration law and criminal law. In addition to leading her firm, she provides co-op legal service to colleagues at The Gledhill Law Firm, LLC, and The Abt Law Firm, LLC.
Prior to the establishment of her private practice, Hingerty served a number of leading firms in the state of Georgia, such as Gonzalez & Associates, P.C.; Ganek, Wright & Dobkin P.C.; Wiggins & Norris, LLC; and Fortson, Bentley & Griffin P.A. Throughout her years as an attorney, she has represented cases involving automobile, motorcycle, and trucking accidents as well as real estate acquisition, deportation, drug trafficking and possession, battery, armed robbery, and murder.
Katie Hingerty is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, holding a Juris Doctor and passing the Bar in 2004. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations, and was inducted to the academic honor society Phi Beta Kappa while at the University of Georgia. During her tenure as a law student, Hingerty was involved in numerous activities related to her field, including competing in the National Trial Competition and the England Mock Trial Competition. She also served as Honor Court Justice and was a recipient of the Morgan & Payne Scholarship.
Katie Hingerty is a member of the Phi Alpha Delta organization and the Women's Council of Realtors. Presently, she is in the process of forming Abt & Hingerty, LLC, which will focus its efforts on personal injury lawsuits.
